Odisha Art Conclave: Launching the Art Dialogue

Day II - 30th August 2016, Mayfair Convention, Bhubaneshwar

Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, Hon’ble Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas opened Day 2 of the Odisha Art Conclave with the Launching of the Art Dialogue, in the presence of Shri Ranjib Biswal, Hon’ble MP, Rajya Sabha, Shri Jagannath Panda, renowned artist and Dr. J. P. Das, eminent cardiologist and artist, Member, IPCA Advisory Board. The second day of the Conclave was devoted to the theme – Launching the Art Dialogue, covering various sessions like Odisha Art Today, Art and Technology, Art Management, Ritual Arts, and a feedback sharing session.

IPCA awarded three cash scholarships of Rs. 1 lakh each to three young and emerging artists to support their efforts and work for one year. Chief Guest, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, Hon’ble Minister of State for Petroleum & Natural Gas, Government of India, presenting scholarships to emerging young artists Shri Digbijayee Khatua, Shri Pavan Ganesh Kavitkar, and Shri Suryakanta Nayak in the presence of Dr. J. P.Das, Member, IPCA Advisory Board, Shri Ranjeeb Biswal, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha and eminent artist Shri Jagannath Panda.

Visiting artists, speakers, panelists and guests were also felicitated during the function.
